Let's get all the generic stuff taken care of first - I am an average, gay, white, middle-aged (born in 1978) American male Pisces. I think we got that out of the way in one sentence lol. As for the rest...

     I live in the middle of the East Coast of the United States and come from a proud family of enlisted military members. This means that my family isn't rich nor has it ever been. I grew up in a house where you were just happy to have something to eat and friends to play with. It also means that I moved a lot growing up, which I have come to be grateful for as it has given me the ability to more easily see and understand things from different perspectives and be more open to engaging and trying things from different cultures. It also means that I have come to enjoy listening to a wide array of music types as well as enjoying most movie genres.

     Like all non-straights from my generation, my past is full of the issues, angst and mental/emotional trauma that most of us endured. I am eternally grateful that this continues to get better and better here in the States for each newer generation. As a natural optimist, I have high hopes that one day mankind will see ourselves as just that - one group loving each other and striving together to be the best we can all become.

     I enjoy being from a pre-internet age group since it means I can fully appreciate both how it was, how it is, and fully understand the pros and cons of both. I remember the joy of getting a letter in the mail, racing to the door to see who's knocking, and going out to the arcade. I also remember typing up reports on the typewriter, going to the library to do research and check out books, both for practical and casual reading - or the joy of when the book mobile came through. This also allows me to fully appreciate the ease of email and the use of the internet. I also understand the negative impact it's had on the social skills of the masses.

     I am a gamer at heart, preferring action and RPG games the most. Link from the Legend of Zelda games is my all-time favorite gaming hero. The Final Fantasy series from X-II and below also have a special place in my heart. I enjoy having nostalgic moments and playing things from NES and floppy disc era but also enjoy playing the newer games as well. I appreciate a good board game or card game and still occasionally play such things with my friends/family. I have also been a DM for D&D since I was 11 and continue to enjoy roleplaying with my PC's to this day.

     I have always enjoyed writing and have long considered attempting a career at it. I had to spend many years finding my own self-worth and then getting my life to a point where I could not be so stressed about making ends meet that I could relax enough to write before finally finding the confidence and courage to have a go at it. Here we go and thank you to everyone who supports me on my way to making this a reality!
